1. Extra Curricular activities with complete detail

   Extracurricular activities or Extra Academic Activity (EAA) are those that fall outside the realm of the normal curriculum of school or university education, performed by students. Extracurricular activities exist for all students. Our students has showed a keen interest in different activities time to time and participated in different events at different level.

    

   

    

   Below is the list of such activities.

    

   1. Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (बेट बचाओ, बेट पढ़ाओ, Save girl child, educate girl child) is a Government of India scheme that aims to generate awareness and improving the efficiency of

      welfare services meant for women. Our students participated in Nalwar mela, Bhangrotu (March 2016), organized by Red Cross Society, Mandi which had a special program on Beti Bacho.

      Students presented a skit on this and were awarded by the chief quest for an awesome presentation.

       

   2. A spider bite might not transform you into a superhero, but a small needle prick and a little bit of your time sure can. Yes, by donating blood you’ll be saving up to three human lives each time. And here is even more awesome news: not only is donating blood extremely beneficial to those on the receiving end, but also has proven health benefits for the donor. Dreamz Educational Society hosted a Blood donation camp (2014) and students participated in this with full zeal and enthusiasm. In 2015, again students & staff participated in blood donation camp hosted at BSL Colony Hospital. In 2016, same was organized by Civil Hospital Sundernagar and students again came forward and participated in this program.

      

   3. Two students Neha Kumari and Manish from Computer Engineering of Dreamz Polytechnic participated in Women Marathon hosted by Red Cross Society, Mandi

       

   4. Variety is the spice of life. Life without feasts and celebrations is charm less and lifeless. So is true in case of student life. Without functions and celebrations life becomes monotonous and uninteresting. To bring charm in student life and to enhance them morally time to time different functions such as Annual Function, Annual Sports Day, Parents’ Day, Teacher’s Day, etc. are celebrated every year.

   5. Students from this institute participated in various other events like Tech Fest 2012 hosted by Sirda Group of Institutions, Carnival again hosted by Sirda Group of Institutions

   PTA helps our children’s school thrive. Importance of PTA:-

   1. Parents and teachers who participated are truly life saves. This board is for celebrating the PTA and providing ideas to make one’s ward best, it can be.

   2. To polish the extra –ordinary students.

   3. Some times students use to deliver wrong message to the teachers as well as parents and create communication gap between teachers and parents

      ,leading many conception which can be sorted out.

   4. To boost up the mediocre students.

   5. To recognize possible sign of stress.

   6. To recognize the weak points.

   7. To make aware the parents about their wards activities regarding studies and curricular activities.

   8. Association makes no guarantee of results and assumes no liability.

   9. It is the better partnership for the all round development of the students and assure that the students can do better or improve till.

Alumni Association

The Alumni Association was established in the year 2012 to link the Alumni directly with their Institution. The past students gather on Third Saturday of February every year to maintain the updated and current information of the alumni, to encourage and promote close relations between the institution and among the alumni themselves. It also allows the alumni to acknowledge their gratitude to their institutions. Our institution honors the distinguished Alumni every year during the Annual Day Celebrations.

 

Objectives of the Association

 

• Dreamz Alumni Association shall be an authorized platform for the out gone students of Dreamz Polytechnic

• The Association shall collect all the data of alumni and maintain their career development.

• The main aim of the association is to utilize technical knowledge of the alumni and impart training to the students by the way of guest lectures, seminars, in-plant training and assistance in placements etc.

• The subscription fee and donation from members and publics shall be utilized for the purpose of scholarship and financial assistance to the current students and staff of the Dreamz Polytechnic, Khilra.
